Love this book- great for this beginner

| I am starting homeschooling part way through my daughter's 3rd grade year. This book is perfect! It explains homeschool styles, learning styles (my daughter fits "Sociable Sue" to a T), and so much more. The author really makes it her job to help you feel comfortable in picking a homeschool curriculum that will be a right fit for your child as well as for you and your home. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because in the overview section for curriculum it does not tell you if the item is for older learner, younger learners, etc. So I would find an item that seemed to fit (based on ratings), only to flip over to the page with it's description & realize it was for high schoolers. A little extra work, but not enough to really mar my love for this book. It really was just what this brand new homeschooler needed (and I've been reading through tons of Homeschool books- this one is a keeper)! |
