| I admit that these are a guilty pleasure. After reading Step on a Crack, I about gave up on Patterson; I thought it was maudlin and that his writing was "lazy"...relying on too many characters he had used in the past. I actually think that having a co-writer makes these stories better. Although certainly not requiring much brain-power, they are just plain fun to read. | |
