I have a 13 year old boy whose eating problems I thought would go away by now, but the fighting, gaging and crying at the table have still continued. He tries about two new foods a year! I am so thankful for Jessica Seinfeld's book, Deceptively Delicious. I have tried many of the recipies as have my husband and my 16 and 13 year old sons. No one has suspected a thing! I let my 13 year old picky eater dip fruit slices into chocolate peanut butter dip for dinner and secretely know he is getting some cream cheese and sweet potato. I also let him eat banna-peanut butter muffins at dinner and can rest assured because he is also getting carrot with them. We are going to ease into some of the main course meals because he dislikes so many foods. One of our family's absolute favorite foods is the Pink Pancakes made with beets and ricotta cheese. They are easy to make and taste wonderful. I made them into heart shapes on Valentines Day. Just like Jessica says, I do my pureeing on a different day than I do my cooking. This book is also good for people on a low sugar diet. Thank you Jessica for writing this book. I know there is no more fighting at our dinner table.
