Wonderful book!!!!

| This book has been on my favorite list for over 30 years. Lewis had a way of speaking to the average person, in a convincing manner. A sign of the different (not better) world we live in, the book was originally broadcast on the BBC(read by the author) during WWII to encourage the citizens of Britain as they were being attacked by Germany and so many of their young men were dying. Would that happen today? I think not, and that diminishes us. |
