| Having never read a Lisa Gardner novel before, I had no idea what to expect. What a pleasant surprise! I took this book to work with me to read on breaks and ended up sneaking it inside a manual to read throughout the day (it was worth the possible suspension)! This story was so well-crafted, the characters had great depth and dimension, and the plot was original and captivating. This book was more entertaining than several movies I have seen lately and was quite suspenseful. Needless to say, I finished the story in a day and am looking forward to reading Ms. Gardner's other works. |
