Pretty good

"Blue Dahlia" was a good introductory book for the In the Garden series. The story line is good and I like that it makes the characters research the family history.
This book is about Stella Rothchild who is a mother of two and recently widowed. She moves to Tennessee with hopes of a new job and to be closer to her dad and stepmom. She meets Logan Kitridge, a landscaper at her new job, while they clash at first sparks fly a little later. While their romance is heating up, the ghost that also resides in the Harper House makes it known that she doesn't approve of this new relationship.
Like one of the other reviewers noted it seemed like the relationship between Stella and Logan was a little rushed. I found myself wanting to read about Hayley and Harper more, since they had sparks from when they first met. This book was pretty good and I will be reading the rest in this series. |
