great in SMALL doses!

This series is a great resource but it should NOT be your sole means for teaching your small kids the 3 Rs. The exercises are SO repetitive that if you bombard your kids with page after page they WILL learn to hate learning and studying and will need years of therapy to undo the damage.
Seriously, in small doses (say 1/4 to 1/2 a page once or twice a week) this volume will signficantly augment your child's development. But you have to take an active role and make it fun, and make it personally meaningful and joyous for your child. We almost made it a chore for our girl and i will never make that mistake again. |
