cute characters, little substance

| For me, the problem with this book is that the tone is more "Hey! Look! A Disney character!" with each turn of the page, rather than a book filled with interesting cooking ideas for kids. I didn't see anything truly unique or anything that jumped out at me as fun for kids to participate in. What I was looking for was fun cooking activities to do together with my child. This just didn't deliver. It will soon be given away as a gift, it's not a keeper. (Bought it through a book-of-the-month club without previewing it.) |
