A poor copy, an obvious Tolkien rip-off
|
This is simply an obvious re-write of Lord of the Rings, and a poor one to boot. Here is the run down:
A peasant boy discovers he is suddenly wanted by the Big Evil force in the world. He runs off with a band of friends who each carry a unique weapon (sword, bow, axe, etc.)
Our hero is guided by a wizard (Gandalf) and a warrior (Aragorn).
The forces of evil mainly consist of Fades (Ringwraiths) and Trollocs (Orcs), but also the occasional dragon.
Our heroes flee from their pastoral home to a town (Bree) and stay at the Stag and Lion (Prancing Pony) where, during the night, a Fade (Ringwraith) attacks them, so they flee into the wilderness.
They come to a ruin at a river and have a big battle where their group is split up (breaking of the Fellowship).
I threw it away in disgust at this point. You can avoid this fate by steering clear! |
