Not the right author for the subject.

| I am plodding through this book. I have had the feeling all the way through that the author had very little respect for the subject and that is not a good place to start a biography. There are very few photos and the book is very good bedtime reading because it puts me to sleep but is far too long and is heavy when I fall asleep reading and it hits me in the face. I read Blanche Wiesen Cook's Eleanor Roosevelt and could hardly put it down. Maybe she will do one of FDR so we can really get an exciting look at this great man who led the country safely through some of the most difficult times of our history and his administration gave us some truly great things that are still helping us. He deserves much better. |
