| What do you need to know about this book? Richard Dawkins doesn't like religion, and he's good at saying it. He stays away from baseless rants, and he backs up everything he says, he's not at all apologetic, and he thinks indoctrinating children with religion is immoral. What's not to like? If your looking for a critical examination of religion then you probably know what you are getting into. He sticks pretty closely to the science while he examines "The God Hypothesis", but he more than manages to keep things interesting. He also plays the social consequences angle, and he does so pretty well. My description doesn't do it justice. Its a great book and a comprehensive disassembling of religion, read it! |
