Beautiful!!!

First of all, this book is for a fairly specific demographic, intermediate to advanced handspinners who want to try "fancy" "novelty" techniques. The spinning instructions assume you are working with a wheel. Drum carded batts are the preferred preparation method, although teased locks and rolags would work fine. This is a "take it to the next level" kind of book. If you just love yarn or fiber you might still enjoy having it as a coffee table book.
That being said, this is a beautiful book, very informative and inspirational. For the adventurous handspinner, this is a must buy. There is absolutely no other book out there like it....yet. I'm crossing my fingers for a part II. Thanks, Lexi! |
