Having had an atheist respond to my observation that atheists have no objective morality while Christians do, with the claim that the vastness of the universe means that the Christian has no objective morality (honestly, you couldn't make this stuff up) I didn't need Vox Day to tell me that atheists are irrational.
This book is well researched, thoughtful, sometimes vulgar, and never diverts from its target, the destruction of the arguments of the New Atheists. Whether it be the claim that religion causes the majority of wars (well if 10% is a majority maybe atheists can rule the world) or the depredations of Spanish Inquisition (do an average of 10 executions a year for 350 years really count as depredations?) or even the frankly nonsensical claim that conservative American states are more criminal than liberal states Vox dissects the atheistic position with calm, reasoned detachment.
I thoroughly recommend this book to Christian and atheist alike. |
