Best of all, the book tells the stories of the Bible as one "big" story of God's Redemptive Plan through-out history; SO, from the very first incident of the Fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden, God promises the "Rescuer" to come. Every subsequent story looks forward to this One who will come. [thankfully, making almost impossible to turn the events into little "moralizing stories" or simply examples to emulate.] We've needed this book---thank-you, Sally Lloyd-Jones.
