Might be OK for low-level jobs, or consolation if it has been a long long search

| If you think you have tried everything and are still looking after a lengthy search, reading this will help you realize you are not alone. That may be worth the time to read the book. However, I am what this author calls a "hiring authority" -- and if I had someone pull some of these tactics on me, they would be starting at a disadvantage. Instead, I recommend the "Knock 'em Dead" series, where the general tone is more respectful of both the job seeker and the employer. |
