| This is a good read and discusses many valuable ideas. That being said, theory and practice are rarely one in the same. While understanding theory may help frame your tactical approach to practice, in and of itself, theory does not translate directly into practice. In my book [[ASIN:1432717731 Leadership Matters...The CEO Survival Manual: WHAT IT TAKES TO REACH THE C-SUITE AND STAY THERE]] I focus much more on practice than theory. In fact, I spend a decent amount of time debunking conventional theory with practical real world tips for leaders. I would recommend Peter's book for those looking for an introduction to leadership principles on a theoretical basis.
