Better than anything else out there, but some puzzling advice
|
| As with most LP guidebooks, this version provided plenty of solid information and maps, and was very thorough. As such, I recommend it. However, there were at least two major pieces of advice that were simply false: 1) That the Mariscal Sucre area was very dangerous - it was in fact quite safe and tourist-friendly, and 2) Not to take a taxi if it didn't have a meter - almost no taxis had a meter, and if we followed LP's advice ("don't get in a taxi without a meter"), then we never would have gotten a cab! |
