Save a tree while you can

| When I bought this book, along with several other Pacific War alternate histories (by Turtledove and others) I had high hopes. But the views of the authors are so at odds with anything related to the historical facts that it is pure bunk. I read books with a lot of different viewpoints, and I don't agree with a fair number of them. Nonetheless, I can usually find somme merit in every book, and if I don't click with a book, I will at least pass it on to someone that may enjoy it. This is the first one that I took the time to throw in the trash after reading about 60 percent of it. I didn't want some poor unsuspecting used book buyer scarred by the what passes for writing in this book. If there was a zero star rating I'd use it for this book. I did not hate this book, for it was too pitiful to hate. It is the first book that I have actually pitied. It was a terrible waste of a tree to print this thing. Buy a copy of "Everybody Poops"( ISBN-10: 0916291456) and get SOMETHING useful for your purchasing dollar. Oh, the humanity! |
