Do you read books that make you just want to burn it because it's so boring? If so you're in for a treat because this book isn't one of those. Marine Sniper is a story about a man named Carlos Hathcock, and his life as a marine. This story is a very descriptive and quick read, and it will keep you wanting more all the way through it. That is why I love this book.
Carlos joined the marine's right after high school, and became a sniper because his great instincts he was perfect for the job. He joined the Marine Corps shooting team, and won the Wimbledon cup for his shooting before he was sent of to Vietnam. Where he was then sent to Vietnam, and then became one of the best snipers ever who lived. He killed many northern Vietnamese, and they soon had a bounty on his head. Still he kept going out "hunting" or on missions to kill the Vietnamese. Right before he was going to go home he went on one last mission. He stalked a general for three days in a wide open grass clearing. He moved slowly enough that at night he had an enemy patrol walk two feet from him and not see him; he even had a snake crawl over him. He killed the general, and was sent home. Once home he ended up reenlisting because he missed the Corps, and wanted to be on the shooting team again. He was sent back to Vietnam, and you will need to read the rest for your self.
