♥♥♥♥ great writing, suspense, and characters
I won't go into the summary since the synopsis and other review already covered that well.

The book is a great read and fast paced, which is important to me. There are the 2 main characters but also 2 other romance brewing. The author does a great job juggling the side characters, main characters, and children. I also like the way she reveals the characters' past slowly, the same way you get to really know someone.

We saw more of Lucy, who 'll probably be the heroine in the next book. I look forward to that a lot. Lucy is compared to Lara Croft, not a wimpy heroine.

The main reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because Jordan's naivite is irritating. So many strings were pulled to rescue her out of Venezuela the first time, then she went back in the middle of a coup a second time, even after Solomon already told her that he contacted someone there who will try to get her soon-to-be-adopted son out. Has it ever occur to her that she would hinder his rescue instead of helping, or that she would be risking other people's lives? Also, I don't understand why Solomon didn't allow Jordan to take Miguel the first time since she told him that she's already adopted him. Just didn't make sense especially after they already trekked through a forest.
