| A good book like most of Carla Neggers's, A Rare Chance has unique and definitely interesting characters. The heroine, Gabriella, is the daughter of the world's greatest expert on orchids, and has a rather strange background as a result. She is trying to become normal now and work for a normal company; however a security man from her workplace starts following her around for no apparent reason. Cam Yeager is an odd "white knight" police officer about to turn DA when he sees his old partner following Gabriella around. From their meeting at the beginning of the book, A Rare Chance gets more and more interesting, with Gabriella and Cam joining forces, until the very explosive end. |
