A major problem is that the author is confused about the pysanka and the country she is writing about. The pysanka is a UKRAINIAN Easter egg. Russians do not have pysanky (pl.). Surely by now people should know the difference between Ukraine and Russia (you wouldn't confuse Ireland and England). The pysanka is a most special Ukrainian ritual object.
