♥♥♥♥♥ Can a Car Mechanic really be a Princess?
Another great Desert Sheik book from Susan Mallery.

Our heroine, Maggie Collins, of Aspen Colorado has been emailing Prince Qadir of El Deharia to get the job of restoring his 1936 Rolls Royce Phantom III. He thought he was hiring her father who had passed away a few months ago but had been negotiating the restoration before he became ill. Qadir has reservations but she does seem capable to do it. He sees her love of her job.

Maggie falls in love with the car and knows what she wants to do to get it back to it's loving best. Maggie is still a tomboy really but she just hasn't gotten friendly with any girls/woman in her life. Her father raised her after her mother's death when Maggie was a baby so she's comfortable in a shop with men around. Her best friend and supposed lover had grown apart while her father was so ill. He has found a new girlfriend but still wants to take care of Maggie and she reaches out just before leaving for her new job.

Qadir has he own fear of falling in love but finds he does like Maggie. His father, King Mukhtar, is putting pressure on him to marry but he finds he just doesn't care for all the women the King parades in front of him. He thinks he and Maggie can create a pretend romance then when she finished the car she can leave and he will pretend to be broken hearted and be off his father's list for a few more months.

Of course all backfires for Qadir and Maggie. This is their story of falling in love. Fun book!
