Being a Rutgers b-ball fan, I have been in the presence of this remarkable woman so much it no longer phases me. However when she does something...remarkable, I get goosebumps around her.
After her recent victory over then undefeated UConn (coached by her arch-nemsis, the evil Geno), us fans were all in a buzz after the game. But she told us that she was the one excited seeing the outpouring of support that we give her.
I am well aware of stuggles in life, be it with her upbringing and the obstacles she has gone through with her kids and husband, so I figured after the whole Imus brouhaha she would shake off as another distraction. But it really shook her foundation, showing as much as hard she is on her players, when something like that effected them, it effected her even harder because she loves her players THAT much.
Us Rutgers fans love her THAT much as well. You will love her THAT much too.
