Important to the story, but not as much fun

| If you are reading the entire Argeneau series, you can't miss this one, because it provides some important back story to some of the later novels. Unfortunately, I found it to be the slowest paced of the entire series. I rated it a 3 because it's important to read it, or some of the later stories will not make any sense, but you may have to hold your eyes open if you're reading it before bed. |
