Lack of detail actually enhances the story!

Victor narrates "Vampire Vow" with the detachment he attributes to another character in his story. This is mostly effective because Victor thinks he is above everyone else--so he tells only what he wants his readers to know.
Two thousand years ago, Victor knew and fell in love with Joshu--later known as Jesus. But Joshu would not succumb to Victor's will.
Victor is turned into a vampire...a storm covers the afternoon sky, and he tries in vain to have Joshu save himself from the crucifixion.
Victor joins the priesthood...
Readers know from the start what Victor is up to, but there is enough mystery in some of the other characters to keep their interest. The story also leaves them wanting more...
This story contains strong sexual content and violence. I was greatly pleased to have few offensive words insulting my intelligence--as stories like this normally tend to have.
Recommended for adults 18 and over.
