Great book, but...
|
I think it's a little over the top. Warren is a great man and a knowledgeable guy but somewhere he fails to remember that the world is full of normal folks who simply aren't going to be able to drop what they are doing and take a fly-in trip to Honduras.
It's a noble thought but, there's plenty of Christian work to do right here.
While he did a great job on the book, he lost me by a wide margin by suggesting that if I am not trying to preach to jungle muslims in east Africa, I am an even more worthless Christian than I already am.
I know it's a struggle, all I have is faith. I didn't like to be told that life isn't worthwhile if you aren't carrying a New Testament in Saudi Arabia.
HOWEVER, the book still deserves a 5-star. |
