This is one of the best guidebooks I have seen. It is loaded with information and easy to use. I only had a short time for my visit. This book helped me make the best use of my time in selecting the things I wanted to do and not wasting time. It has accurate directions and maps, detailed descriptions, and beautiful pictures. We think that these guidebooks are the best for all the islands. However, be skeptical of restaurant recommendations. Also comments and recommendations are frequently out of date. Small example: 2007 edition for the Big Island recommends the Mauna Kea hotel and golf course which have been closed for over one year.... »
