While this is a great book it has some serious shortcomings. This is definitely a beginners book. Although I am not a beginning artist, I am new to colored pencils. I have always taught my students to begin with the basics and that is why I bought this book. Almost half the book is devoted to the basics of color and design which is what I expected.... »
