This was one of the greatest books I've read. It was very touching at parts. Some parts make me laugh and some made me cry. In this fantasy the main character being a china doll was a great idea. Love Richard Scarry, but the illustrations in this publication are a bit dull/faded. There is a lot of content here, but still I was disappointed by the faded look. I recommend Richad Scarry's 'I Am a Bunny' Board Book which has superior color and my baby loved it at 3 months! Her first favorite book!!!
