My 3-yr old son got this book recently and he's got it just about memorized... he loves how the pigeon tries to negotiate and just the other day, my son says to me "PLLLEEAASEE!!???!!! I'll be your best friend! I'll give you five bucks." just like the pigeon. We also have "Don't let the Pigeon Stay up Late" which is just as charming.... »

My 17 month old son loves this book! He likes the pictures and the rhyming and he loves to shake his head "no" after every question in the book. He brings it to me several times each day to read after choosing it out of a big stack of books. We have a few other Sandra Boynton books too but this one is his favorite right now.
