Of all the Andrew Clements school books I've read, Lunch Money was by far the least engaging. The reason for this is that a large part of the book focuses on numbers instead of people, and where Clements has succeeded in the past is in his ability to make us really like his leading characters. I asumed that this book would be just like the A-list, and gossip girl series, but I was very wrong. the best part about this book was the drawlings, other than that it stunk.
