I read this book primarily to pass the CVOICE exam.
First off, this book barely provides adequate coverage of the questions that come up in the exam. I kept seeing questions and thinking, hey, this wasn't in the book!

I hesitated to review this book simply because the quality of the chapters varies so much -- some are well-written and accurate, but others are very poor, at least in the category of accuracy. Then there are the minor annoyances, like the answers to the questions at the end of chapter 3, which I'll explain first and then describe some accuracy issues.

I would recommend using this book in conjunction with Microsoft 70-431 preparation guide and Measure UP's or Self Test Software's preperation and practice tests. Its hard to pass SQL 2005 depending only on this book (unless you have some experience working with SQL 2005). Good for quick final review before exam too.... »
