My 6-year-old enjoyed this book, and overall it's not bad, but I do take exception to a few points:
*One of the protagonists, Uncle Tooth, smokes a pipe. Not only does it show this, the text mentions him puffing on it. Having a tobacco product or a tobacco-related item shown in a positive light in a children's book doesn't seem appropria... »
