I just forced myself to finish Fire Study, and I can't believe how let down I am. Poison Study is on my Listmania list of all time favorite books. Magic Study was a good follow-up. This is a well crafted book and I enjoyed the story. I imagine it was a nightmare to organize so kudos to the author. I liked the Time Traveler, he was a punk rocker, but his wife wasn't particularly intriguing. It is clearly an idea book, not very strong on characters.
