I found this book completely boring. I got so sick of the author telling each article of clothing worn by all the characters...I thought it must be What Not To Wear. She also spends time giving descriptions of rooms and furniture...boring. How many times do we have to be told the man has a blonde ponytail? I think this is called "filler".

I started this book and couldn't put it down till I got to the end. A great story with just the right amount of twist and a surprising ending. Watch out John Grisham, you've got some really great compititon.

This is a fun book. Not great literature, but lotos of fun looking at Phoenix, and the Southwest, in 1973. It has a good twisty plot and comparative legal accuracy. Gordon Campbell was a good writer in Law School. Despite the added facial hair, he hasn't changed, I guess.
