This is not the perfect book about MotoGP or Superbike, but it is rather close. The facts and information are very good in this book...the presentation is also well-done and the photographs are wonderful. I only wish that there were more statistical information about races past. Every car nut dreams of the great "barn find," and this book seemed to promise vignettes of some of the best, but disppointed me in a few ways. I've been reading these books since the late 90's and I don't get bored. Giorgio Piola does an amazing job following the aero trends from race to race. I like how he even includes many of the reasons for developments, even if they are reverse-engineered.
