My biggest complaint about this phrasebook is how sounds are represented in Latin script. The "OW" sounds are spelled with v's. This may work better for Germanic-language speakers, but for English speakers it is a bit misleading. The "ong" sound is spelled "eng" also. These are just the few I caught from browsing the book; there may be more.

very good. It worths the money. Clear and explanatory. It clarifies points that some other grammars that I have seen don't. Very easy to understand. It also has exercises. No answer key, unfortunately... »

While this is a well meaning book, it will just give you enough information to make you look like a hillbillly from Tennessee. It is put together nicely, it is glossy, but I consider it far short of any kind of help in an every day situation.... »
