This is a Christian book but you wouldn't know it reading it. and least not for 3/4 of the book. i mean that as a good thing. It's not preachy and i thoroughly recommend it for Christians and non Christians alike. The first part is a really motivation story about someone going after his goal despite everything around him holding him back.

After watching the movie, Peaceful Warrior, which I enjoyed, I looked up Dan Millman's published work and ordered two of his books. This book is mainly about a numeric code which supposedly describes the personality (I didn't see myself in my 'numeric sequence'). If I had the time and energy I would return this book.
