I wasn't optimistic after the trilogy-padding "The Grapple", but it was a good read. If you haven't read the other books, you won't read this one, and if you have, you've probably resigned yourself to finishing the series, but you won't suffer for it. I started the series w/ "How Few Remain" ten years and one city ago. Weird to have it finished.... »

Many others have said these books have gotten boring, and I won't argue with them, because they're right. It is just becoming so painful to get through these books. But if you've read this saga from the beginning, you have to do it just to find out where the thing eventually leads.
