Probably not, but by the ending of this book you would think it is. The story continued from 'Stranger Souls' is great, and includes something not found in most of the Shadowrun novels; soul-searching. Almost all of the main characters must undergo some type of search for their true feelings, and the Aztlaner burnout-mage Oscuro is using faces a crucia... »

I am an avid RPGer, and like to read books that capture the worlds I want to play in. This trilogy is the absolute best gaming fiction I have ever read. Salvatore is good, dragonlance is ok, the Exalted trilogy is very enjoyable, but none of them hold a candle to this story. Koke has a real grasp of the Shadowrun universe, and will grasp your attent... »

i just got finished reading beyond the pale and it is an awsome end to an awsome series of books... the action is great.. the feeling is great.. the end is the best. Anyone who likes shadowrun will love all 3 of these... i hope to see ryan and these other characters in future shadowrun books.. even if they aren't the main ones.... »
