I was very disappointed. I love JPH's early works. Met him a few times at Con's and a very smart, intriguing fellow, full of interesting ideas and strong opinions. Not sure where that went. These are the third and fourth novels in Hogan's Giant's series. The first in the series was his debut novel and one of my all time favorite SF novels. It gets 5 stars. The second novel was pretty good, but not as good as the first, so it gets 4 stars. The third novel was OK, but only because we love the characters from the first two novels so much... »
