This is such an astounding book that I don't know where to begin praising it. I'm sorry to say that this book was a major disappointment. Volume 1 of this series, while somewhat fantastical, was ultimately engaging and left me hanging for this volume. Unfortunately, the character's actions seemed without motivation and destroyed the skillful set-up of the first book. By the end, you are left simply not caring any longer.... »
