Aside from a minor time inaccuracy (within the first couple pages) the author's diary approach seemed a bit unauthentic. I read this book years ago, as a child, and was thrilled to find I could still get a copy years (ok, decades *cringes*) later. Yet the book is certainly one both children and adults can enjoy.
